Install Element and Register Account

go to https://element.io/get-started to download the Element client for your platform.
Install the version that matches your OS.
Click 'Create account'
Click the 'Advanced / Other' box, and enter https://radiowarnerd.org and click next.
Enter your desired username, your password twice, and an email address. Click Register.
Step six: If you supplied an email address, click on the link contained in the sent email to verify your email address.

How to set up encryption

Click on the down arrow next to your user name and click on 'Security & Privacy'
Click on the 'Set up' button underneath the Encryption Secure Backup area
Select 'Enter a Security Phrase'
Enter a security passphrase
Re-enter the Security Passphrase
Download and save in a secure location your Security Key. Then click 'Continue'
